Back from NYC

NYC was awesome! Not only did I spend an entire day running around Manhattan, I spent it with a lot of individuals in the financial world who really gave me their outlook and view on their complex, very active jobs. I learned quite a bit and am really excited to soon be a part of that world as a finance professional. Cecil, an investment banker with Morgan Stanley, really took the initiative and also had me meet with other individuals from Lehman Brothers and S&P. With this being my first visit to NYC, I know it will only get better as I visit again to see more of this great city. I can't wait to go back!

Tomorrow!

I can't believe that 4 years have already flown by! As a finance major and Spanish minor, I am really excited to have this experience in NYC. This will be my first time out there and I can't wait to see the excitement on Wall Street. This will really let me get a good feel of the investment world and how I can contribute to it as a new grad. Although I never thought of New York City as my first choice to move, I am willing to move anywhere an opportunity presents itself. My first choice is Chicago. However, this experience may very well change my outlook on where I choose to focus my job search as a new grad. More to come about my experience after I come home Wednesday night!
